Why Pandan Initiative is Structured as a Non-Profit

Pandan Initiative is designed as a public-interest impact infrastructure organisation. Its role is to develop shared frameworks, decision tools, and measurement approaches that enable organisations, funders, and policymakers to make better long-term decisions.
We operate on a self-sustaining model. Our activities are primarily supported through revenue generated from advisory, strategy, and impact-related engagements with partner organisations.
The non-profit structure ensures that Pandan’s methods and advisory logic remain independent of shareholder incentives, allowing neutrality, credibility, and reinvestment into ecosystem-level capabilities that individual firms would not typically build alone.
Pandan is non-profit because its primary purpose is system-level capability building, not profit distribution.
We aim to use our capabilities to help schools kickstart their journeys in building their centres of social innovations.

Pandan Platform is an open innovation and learning hub designed to help businesses experiment with, measure, and scale social impact in a disciplined way.
